Q: How do I get my tickets?

A: It’s easy! The fastest way to get your tickets is to order online and print them right at home. If you order your tickets over the phone, they will arrive in your mailbox within days of placing your order. Or, you can walk right up to the box office and bring your tickets home that day.

Q: Do I need to bring a chair?

A: No need to lug a chair around because the venue has reserved seating for the Sunset Music Series and the Newport Summer Comedy Series. For all other general admission events, there are seating areas for guests.

Q: If it rains, does the event go on?

A: Of course!   That’s why we have the big tents set up all season. All events at the Newport Yachting Center will take place rain or shine.  Umbrellas are always welcome though we have plenty of covered space to keep you out of the foul weather!

Q: Are pets welcome at the Newport Yachting Center events?

A: We love those furry friends but unless they are certified assistance service animals we unfortunately cannot allow them inside the event.

Q: Can I bring my camera/video camera?

A: Photos and video are welcome at all events and festivals except the Sunset Music Series Concerts, The Newport Summer Comedy Series and The Newport Waterfront Reggae Festival where there is a strict no camera and video policy.

Q: Can I bring food & drinks?

A: Since we offer an array of food and beverage options and full service bars, we do not allow guests to bring in their own food and drinks. We have lots to choose from within our gates, from comfort food concessions, to BBQ and seafood, plus lots of cold beer and festive cocktails!

Q: When is the Will Call/Newport Yachting Center box office open?

Through May 12:
A: The Box Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm until the full time Box Office opens in May, at which time the Box Office will be open seven days a week. On show days we are open from 9am to 9pm, with extended hours for shows starting after 9pm. If you have any questions, please contact us at boxoffice@newportyachtingcenter.com.

After May 12th:
A: The Box Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 10am to 5:30pm, Friday from 10am to 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 5pm. On show days we are open from 9am to 9pm, with extended hours for shows starting after 9pm.  If you have any questions, please contact us at 401.846.1600 ext 3 or boxoffice@newportyachtingcenter.com.

Q: Do you offer wheelchair access?

A: Absolutely!  Our outdoor venue is very accommodating of wheelchair access.  You can purchase accessible seating by calling the Box Office or by using the online ticketing feature. Q: Where can we park in Newport?

A: There are many convenient parking lots within walking distance to our venue:

  • The Gateway Visitor’s Center on America’s Cup Avenue located at 23 America’s Cup Avenue just before the Newport Marriott offers ample parking and a scenic walk through downtown Newport.
  • 1 Sayers Wharf on America’s Cup Avenue in The Mooring Seafood Bar & Grille Lot
  • 366 Thames Street Lot (next to Island Pursuit)
  • 390 Thames Street – the St. Spyridon’s Church lot.

Q: What can we do while we’re in Newport?

A: Our Box Office team will be happy to act as your concierge- we have the inside scoop to what’s happening in our city!
