The 2014 Concert Series is here…so be sure to stay connected & be the first to know about this year’s concerts & happenings.  Like usfollow us, & sign up for our newsletters today! The Newport Concert Series at the Newport Yachting Center offers a waterfront concert experience like no other in a casual, relaxed setting with open-air dockside lounge areas and stunning views of Newport harbor.  From May through October, a variety of artists from all musical genres perform under our intimate tented pavilion, where all seats are within 100 feet of the stage.  Once inside the gates, a memorable evening ignites where thousands of attendees gather to enjoy good company, live music, festive food and drink and the scenic waterfront. And after the encore, the buzz of Newport’s lively nightlife and seaside attractions awaits just steps away!

Q: How do I get my tickets?

A: It’s easy! The fastest way to get your tickets is to order online and print them right at home. To order by phone, call 1.800.745.3000. Q: Do I need to bring a chair?

A: No need to lug a chair around because the venue has reserved seating for the Newport Concert Series and the Newport Summer Comedy Series. For all other general admission events, there are seating areas for guests. View the seating map here.

Q: If it rains, does the event go on?

A: Of course, all events at the Newport Yachting Center are rain or shine! Umbrellas are always welcome, though all reserved seating and the performance stage for the Newport Concert Series are under our large concert tent.

Q: Are pets welcome at the Newport Concert Series?

A: We love those furry friends, but unless they are certified assistance service animals, unfortunately we cannot allow them inside the event.

Q: Can I bring my camera/video camera?

A: At the Newport Concert Series there is a strict no-camera and no-video policy at the artists’ request. We do ask that guests not use professional recording or photography equipment and we reserve the right to ask that such equipment be taken out of the venue.

Q: Is there food and drink during the shows?

A: With Julians OmniBus, the delicious double-decker food truck located inside our gates as well as various full-service bars, including a waterfront Point Lounge and Bar, we do not allow guests to bring in their own food and drinks. Selections of food include Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap, BBQ Pulled Pork Tacos, Honey Dijon Brisket Plate, Sun-Dried Tomato & Basil Hummus Wrap, as well as, French Fries and Tortilla Chips topped with your choice of smoked gouda cheese dip, pulled pork, etc. Click here for the full menu or more information on Julians.

Q: When is the Will Call/Newport Yachting Center Box Office open?

A: Now through May 16th you may purchase tickets at our Newport Yachting Center Offices located at 4 Commercial Wharf Monday –Friday 9am-5pm.  From May 17th  through October 13th the Box Office hours are Monday through Thursday from 10am to 5:30pm, Friday from 10am to 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 5pm. On event days we are open from 9am to 9pm, with extended hours for shows starting after 9pm.  Tickets being held at will call are available after 10am on the day of the event.  If you have any questions, please contact us at 401.846.1600 ext 3 or boxoffice@newportyachtingcenter.com

Q: Do you offer wheelchair access?

Q: Where can we park in Newport?

A: There are many convenient parking lots within walking distance to our venue:

  • The Gateway Visitor’s Center on America’s Cup Avenue located at 23 America’s Cup Avenue just before the Newport Marriott offers ample parking and a scenic walk through downtown Newport.
  • 1 Sayers Wharf on America’s Cup Avenue (The Mooring Seafood Bar & Grille lot)
  • Perry Mill Wharf Lot (at America’s Cup Ave. and Perry Mill Wharf, before Midtown Oyster Bar)
  • 366 Thames Street lot (next to Island Pursuit)

Q: What can we do while we’re in Newport?

A: Our Box Office team will be happy to act as your concierge! We have the inside scoop to what’s happening in our city by the sea.
