Oyster Slurp Off
Take part in the fun and join us for our annual Oyster Slurp Off! How fast can you slurp a dozen oysters? Let’s find out Saturday October 1st! Join us on the Oyster Stage at 3PM for the spectacle. Winner will receive a $50 Newport Restaurant Group gift card and a Newport Yachting Center goodie bag!
Oyster Shucking Competition
Fancy yourself an oyster shucking pro? Bring your best shucking knife to the festival on Sunday to be part of the competition! Judges will be watching as contestants shuck two-dozen oysters in the fastest time. Winner will receive a $50 Newport Restaurant Group gift card and a Newport Yachting Center goodie bag!
Better at shucking bottles of beer? Come on down to the Oyster Stage Saturday at 5pm or Sunday at 4pm to test your skills! The contestant who opens a case of Sam Adams beer the fastest, wins!
