Time to Shine

It’s about time for the elves to get to work, kids to draft their wish lists, and for the Newport Yachting Center to flick the switch and illuminate our tree to kick off the holiday season! Join us for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony downtown at the Sovereign Bank Family Skating Center tonight. Share in the fun as holiday cheer spreads throughout the crowd and the Cheer-O-Meter triggers the tree’s bright lights. Also, Santa will be on site to check in with children on whether they’ve been naughty or nice. Throw some carolers and complimentary goodies into the mix, and you’ve got one start to the season that surely can’t be missed. The festivities start at 5:30 PM.
