CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Thank you for your interest in the Newport Yachting Center as a potential place of employment. We are located in beautiful downtown Newport, overlooking the scenic Newport Harbor. We produce, and are host to, many public and private events from May through October. We employ a large number of seasonal staff to fill the many part-time and full-time positions that are available each season. Positions include; parking attendants, marina dockhands and office staff, festival and event staff, operations staff, bartenders, and a variety or others.

The Newport Yachting Center is hiring Event Staff to work for the upcoming Newport Waterfront Events (large scale, public events) August through October. Event Staff fill many different positions depending on the needs of a particular event; bar cashier, gate greeter, merchandise seller, information staff, and many more. The needs of the staff change per event and Event Staff must be comfortable working in most positions that are available during each event. Event Staff are required to have previous customer service and cash handling experience and must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
