There’s sure to be a tune for any taste throughout the Newport Waterfront Irish Festival’s five stages of continuous Celtic entertainment! Perennial crowd-stokers include traditional Irish step-dance, comedy routines, and the spirited sounds of nonstop authentic Irish music, courtesy of such acclaimed acts as Calley McGrane & The Exiles, The Killdares, The Makem & Spain Brothers, The Screaming Orphans, The Town Pants, Black 47, Eileen Ivers, The Glengarry Bhoys, and many, many more! Even better, this year, headlining acts will be performing in our covered Main Stage concert venue, with 400 seats out of the sun and weather. We said this summer season would be a box office smash, and boy was it! It started off with a bang at the Schweppes Great Chowder Cook-Off, and kept rockin’ and rollin’ all the way through the Nantucket Nectars Sunset Music Series. All of our acts packed a serious punch with excellent tunes that worked the waterfront! Loads of laughs were also heard throughout the season all along America’s Cup, thanks to the Newport Summer Comedy Series. We want to thank everyone for coming out and having as much fun at the shows as we had hosting them. We look forward to keeping the momentum moving throughout our fall festivals, with you in attendance! Already been to one of our events this year?
