On May 15-17th, the 35th Annual Newport Spring Boat Show officially marks the casting off of winter and the start of new memories made in the warm winds and waters of Narragansett Bay. This show has everything you need to launch the boating season! Whatever kind of vessel you're looking for - whether it’s an express cruiser, multihull, classic wooden boat, or even a dinghy - you'll find it at the Show. And don’t forget about our popular Bargain Consignment Tent, where you can find great deals on used marine items. Twelve of the biggest national comedic acts are scheduled to perform right here on the waterfront as a part of the Newport Summer Comedy Series! The star-studded lineup guaranteed to make you laugh yourself sideways includes scotch-sippin’ smart alec Ron White, Tony Award-winning actor and comedian Martin Short, and HBO favorite Louis C.K. Also waiting in the wings to slay you silly are Saturday Night Live alumni Tracy Morgan and Norm McDonald! The Newport Yachting Center Box Office has officially swung open its shutters to welcome the 2009 Newport Waterfront Events season. Come visit us at 4 Commercial Wharf (just off America's Cup Avenue) in downtown Newport to buy your tickets to any or all of our exciting events in person. The Box Office is open for walk-up sales seven days a week, come rain or shine! With the exception of being closed on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10, our summer hours are Monday – Thursday, 10am to 5:30pm; Friday – Saturday, 10am to 7pm; and Sunday, 10am to 4pm.
